Privacy Shield Framework
SensorInsight is working toward participation in and to certify its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield. SensorInsight is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries and Switzerland, respectively, in reliance on the Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework's applicable Principles. SensorInsight is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. SensorInsight complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, SensorInsight is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, SensorInsight may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
What information do we collect?
As a visitor to our website you can learn more about our products and services without providing any personal information. We collect name, email, phone, and address information from you when you register on the site, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey, communicate with us via e-mail, or participate in another site feature. When ordering or becoming a customer we collect the following information:
- Contact information such as name, phone number, email and address.
- Billing information such as credit card number, expiration date, card type, and billing address of the card. We also store tax exemption certificates from our customers as necessary.
- Company information such as your job title, description, company name and type
- Profile information, including your site username, password, details about your purchase and your service usage.
Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.
As is true of most websites, when you use our sites, SensorInsight or third party sub processors contracted by us may also collect certain technical and routing information about your computer to facilitate your use of the Site and its services. For example, we log environmental variables, such as browser type, operating system, CPU speed, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer. We use these environmental variables to facilitate and track your use of our web applications and our services.
Also, please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
How do we use your information?
- To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and applications that are specific to your needs.
- To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
- To quickly process your transactions.
- To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.

In certain situations, SensorInsight may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Where required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or legal process served on SensorInsight), and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, avoid litigation, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, and/or respond to a government request. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure should be made for reasons of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server.
All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, and is only used to process payment of our services and products. We do not store your credit card information in our databases.
If You have reason to believe that your data or interactions with us is not secure (for example, if You feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please call or email us immediately.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active, your information is needed to provide you services, or as required to fulfill our legal obligations. If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond to your request within 30 days. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Please note that if you are a current customer you will need to be fully paid up to the cancellation date or the end of your annual subscription period before you can cancel your account completely.
Do we use “cookies”?
We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser's Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won’t have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.
SensorInsight uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operator and providing other services for the website operator relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your browser’s IP address transmitted for Google Analytics purposes with any other data held by Google. Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “outside parties” does not include SensorInsight, LLC. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
To modify your marketing e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences at HERE. Please note that due to production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).
